RHSH is in its founding year. These are our goals, our model, and the outcomes we commit to tracking and reporting — clearly, on schedule, to every funder and donor who invests in this mission.
Grant partners: Full logic model, budget breakdown, outcome metrics, and funder summary available on our dedicated funder page.
Funder Resource Page →How inputs become outcomes — the clear, traceable path from donor investment to family stability and teen resilience.
Donor funding, volunteer mentors, partner schools, board expertise, community trust
Mental health navigation, housing stabilization, teen cohorts, peer circles, bilingual support
Families served, veterans connected, teens enrolled, mentors trained, appointments confirmed
Reduced isolation, stable housing, improved teen coping skills, veteran employment, family cohesion
Military families in Colorado Springs with the support, stability, and resilience to thrive — not just survive
RHSH tracks outcomes at 30, 60, and 90 days for veterans, and at program completion and 6-month follow-up for teens. We report what we delivered — not what we hoped.
Percentage of veterans connected to a confirmed mental health appointment within 48 hours of first contact with RHSH.
Percentage of veterans who received housing stabilization support and remained stably housed at 90-day follow-up.
Percentage of teen cohort participants showing measurable improvement in validated coping skill assessments at program completion.
Percentage of participants reporting increased sense of belonging and trusted adult connection at cohort completion.
All RHSH programs, materials, and navigation services are available in English and Spanish. No language barrier to services.

RHSH is launching programs in 2026. We don't have three years of outcome data — and we won't claim what we haven't earned. What we have is a board of people who have spent careers in this space, evaluated this model, and committed their names and expertise to it. That is its own form of evidence.
"I spent 26 years watching military families absorb the weight of service without anything designed specifically for them. The VA serves veterans. Schools serve students. Nobody serves the family as a unit. Amanda built the organization I watched people need for three decades — and she built it from the inside of that need. That's why I'm here."
"I've worked with military teenagers in Colorado Springs schools for fourteen years. The gap RHSH fills is real and it is urgent. These kids are carrying things that school counselors, stretched across hundreds of students, simply do not have the capacity to reach. A structured, trauma-informed cohort specifically for military youth doesn't exist here. RHSH is building it — and I'm building it with them."
"Twenty-two years in the Marine Corps and the veteran peer support work I've done since tells me one thing: programs designed by people who've lived it reach people that clinical services don't. Amanda didn't study this gap. She fell into it fighting for her son. That origin matters. It shapes every decision RHSH makes about how to actually show up for veterans."
"From a governance and financial controls standpoint, RHSH is built to the standard that foundation funders expect — not the standard typical of a launch-year nonprofit. The financial oversight structure, the conflict of interest policies, the restricted fund tracking — these were built in from the start, not added after a funder asked for them. That discipline is rare and it matters."
Every dollar RHSH receives goes directly to program delivery. Below is exactly what each giving level makes possible — defined, accountable, and reported back.
Complete 90-day mental health navigation for one veteran — intake, confirmed appointment, follow-up, and outcome report.
Emergency housing funds plus navigator support for one veteran facing homelessness — placement, paperwork, 6-month follow-up.
Full support package — veteran navigation, housing if needed, teen cohort enrollment, bilingual family support, and 90-day follow-up.
Complete 12-week cohort — facilitation, curriculum, coordination, bilingual support for families, and funder outcome report.
Six months of complete program delivery — veteran services, two teen cohorts, peer mentorship, bilingual navigation, staffing, and reporting.
Annual program delivery — all five service lines, staffing continuity, bilingual access, quarterly reporting, and year-end impact summary.
Every giving level above represents a veteran who gets a call instead of a voicemail, a family that gets a navigator instead of a referral sheet, a teenager who gets a cohort instead of a school counselor stretched across 400 students. The numbers are real because the people are real.

RHSH is in its founding year. We do not have three years of outcome data. We have a clear model, a committed team, a board with deep expertise, and an origin story built from the inside of the gap we are filling.
What we commit to: measuring what matters, reporting what we find, and never claiming impact we have not earned. Funders who invest in RHSH's founding year are not buying a track record — they are building one with us. We will honor that with transparency at every stage.
